Focus Friday

Focus Friday

This is something new that I am going to try. I am a slight addict of meme's so I like to try new ones and this one, well this one seems like it might just be a good one for me. Because it is challenging yourself to get things done and holding yourself accountable and by putting it out there for the world to see - you all can keep me accountable too. So here I go...

- I really need to do a good deep clean of my apartment. I do my best to keep it clean and picked up, but it's been a while since I have been on my hands and knees scrubbing the grout - wait, I have NEVER down that! ha! But in all seriousness, I don't remember the last time I mopped the floor....ect. So this week, I want to do a good cleaning and while I am at it, get rid of some stuff that is cluttering this house.
- I also need to do better at feeding Parker - now before you go calling social services on me - I WILL STATE I DO FEED MY CHILD! I just get frustrated when doing solids (baby food) so somedays I don't bother, especially considering that his formula is absolutely needed. As the Dr. stated, if he doesn't do solids right now, thats ok, but he need that formula. Well, I do feed him solids, but recently, I have been a little lax about it...not doing it daily...but if I ever intend for him to eat food without bottle after age one, I need to keep him going. So I am going to do better at it...not let my frustration stop me.

So those are my goals for this week....Keep me accountable friends, support me!

On another note, Fun Foods Friday will be back - promise!

Now if you want to do focus friday, head over to Thrifty and Chic Mom for all the rules!

I read somewhere that the best way to clean grout is with a magic eraser. I haven't tried it yet but I would imagine that it would work and save a lot of the heavy scrubbing. :)

Oh, dear, I am not the one to keep you accountable for cleaning your house, let me tell you!!! :) I'm right there with you- my house is in a state of disorder...planning on organizing a lot over the next couple months! :)

Also, yeah, as long as he's regularly exposed to solids, don't worry if he gets a certain amount every day at this age. :) Eventually he'll want real food instead of formula, I promise. :)

Deep clean, my house needs one of those, it is not fun but always feel better after scrubbing the kitchen floor on my hands and knees. Good luck with the food, I got lazy with #2 a lot, it is just so much more work than a bottle but in the end worth it, good luck and thanks for joining the fun!

I am not the one to keep you accountable for cleaning either as it has been on my focus friday just about every week since I joined! Good luck with the solid foods, I remember that being a tough one to transition over to, especially if the formula is so important, maybe shoot for one time a day?
Have a great week and thanks for joining.
