Warning Labels on Laundry Baskets?

It sounded harmless enough - entertain an adorable 2 year old by pushing him around in a laundry basket. I mean, I have done it many a time before and even HE will push his mouse and blankie in it. So on Tuesday night when he asked me to "push apeas" I said, sure why not. It was fun and it was a workout...

We came into the living room and as I was going I tripped on Parker's popcorn popper thing. Anyways, I flew forwarded heard a crack and banged to the ground on my knee. My arm hurt and I couldn't really tell why....I just knew it was really hurting at the top. I checked on Parker and he said, "Oh mommy boo boo." I looked down and say lots of blood (honestly my knee was more my concern since it's my bad knee anyway.) I looked at my arm and noticed a long cut...

It turns out that the laundry basket attacked my arm.

Here's the night off after I had cleaned it up:

And here it is today....

First I should note how much I hate tape because it gets suck annoying residue to your arm! Second, It hurts like the dickens, so stinking tender....and it's pretty, so I suppose that's a plus side right?

But here's what I want to offer laundry basket makers of America (or China?) there should clearly be a warning label on laundry baskets: "Warning, not for use of anything fun...."

Although your post made me chuckle, I am sorry you got hurt. Looks painful!! So sweet, that Parker sounded concerned about his mommy too. :-)
