My Toddler

I no longer have a baby - I am now the mom of a toddler! And I am not sure I like it yet...maybe...sorta!

Parker is doing GREAT! He can walk now - though he needs to get more steady, he does walk - often! He eats mostly table food. We went cold turkey off bottles and is now on a sippy cup with a straw! He doesn't need a bottle to go down anymore! He babbles all the time, he is in to everything, he climbs on EVERYTHING! He loves Kix! He's just so sweet and precious and so good (most of the time!) He is currently cutting molars.

Parker will be starting home based therapy Oct. 9th. They still need to "evaluate" him, but he will be seeing a Speech Therapist because he should have more words in his vocab (at this point - mama and dada is all we get). He will get some OT and PT therapy as well. Thankfully he is mildly delayed so there is the possibility that he may not need it long or heavy. We just know he needs a little. And while this is hard for me I know it's the right thing to do and that Parker is doing great.

It's so weird to know that Parker is now in the toddler stage. It's funny also, how small he is, but here he is walking!

He's doing great though, and that's what's the important!
