Tuesday's Tips

Well, this Tuesday, I don't really have any tips, but I could use some....so this is a special edition of Tuesday's Tips, lets call it You 2 Me!

1) What can you sterilize in the dishwasher and what is a good way to clean and sterilize the dishwasher?

2) How on earth do you make it through teething? I am going to lose my mind!

ok, so those are only 2 tips..for now...I am sure I may come up with some!

I don't really have a whole lot to say today. I was watching videos of Parker from in the NICU and was crying. Wow, he was so stinking tiny!

Well, I am going to go for now! Later friends!

Dishwasher - want can't you wash in it? : )
As for teething - grin and bear it - they will continue to get teeth well into their second year of life!

Hey...as far as the dishwasher goes, in my opinion it doesn't need to be sterilized...the water should get hot enough when it's running and do it for you with the soap and all. Lysol cleaning wipes work well to clean the inside and outside of the door.

ahhhh teething(not fun) I bought cream to put on my boys' gums seemed to help. Also someone told me to give them a cold washcloth to suck on and of course there are teething rings, which my boys rarely used. So, it's a tough one!! My boys are almost done and I'm so happy about it!! Just remember it does get better:)

Good luck***

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog....even if it wasn't for me! :) LOL!

As for the dishwasher, I sterilized everything in ours. Unless Parker gets thrush, it should be enough. Run the water in your sink until it's coming through hot then set your washer on it's hottest setting. That'll kill about anything.

To clean the dishwasher it's self, I use this dishwasher cleaner every few months. It says to use it once a month, but I don't need it that often. It works REALLY well.

And for teething, I swear by Hylands teething tablets. They've done wonders for my kids! You can pick them up in the suppliment/vitamin aisle at Wal-Mart. They dissolve instantly & are homeopathic. I only use them when chewing on a cold wet rag isn't helping.

Good luck with it! Your little one is an absolute doll!
