Sunshine, Breeze and My Front Porch

There is seriously nothing better than being on my front porch - well balcony because I live in an upstairs apartment, but that's beside the point. Anyways - I digress.

For the past couple of days, after dinner Parker and I come out on our front balcony and relax. Today, there is the most AMAZING breeze, it's nice and shady, and peaceful. It might be one of my most favorite places to be. It's a great little get away spot, even if it's just out side my living room, also, the door opens out of my living room, so when I am cooking, I can open up the door and let Parker go out and play, he can come in and out as he chooses and I can also see him out the window (our kitchen window looks out over the balcony.

We have a back porch too, and I love to just sit on it and read. It's smaller, but Parker will go play on it occasionally. It's off of our master bedroom and has a sliding door, so at night, we leave the door a ajar do breeze can come through the screen. It over looks a BEAUTIFUL pond and nature reserve. It's super peaceful and gives a lovely place to be.

One of Parker's favorite things about the porch - I would guess the fact that our neighbor has a cat that they sometimes let on their front porch. Parker gets all excited and runs around on our porch yelling cat, cat, meow. The cat can't get on our porch, we do have privacy, but it can stick it's hand through the fence thing and play with Parker - which he adores. Yes, Parker is allergic to cats, but it's not like he's inhaling it.

Even now as I write this, I am on my front porch - telling PArker to stop trying to climb on my desk inside...hold on BRB.

Back.

Seriously though, I am so thankful for my porches. And sun, and warmth and a nice breeze and my hanging flower basket, and my outdoor run...and my comfy lawn chair.

Have a good evening!

I have to say I'm incredibly thankful for our apartment. God gave us a great location. Thanks for the reminder.
