I haven't done one of these in a very long time, so I thought, what the hey, I will do it today! Plus, it's a good one for all of you out there wondering what the heck to buy me for christmas!

Would you believe it was super hard for me to figure out what I wanted? See, now that I have a child, I am way more into making sure he gets stuff, I would rather know he is receiving than making sure I receive.

Today's topic: 6 things you have made you are proud of!

1. My sweet baby boy - I will always be proud that I helped to make him and he will always be numero uno!


2. The fruit pizza I made for Parker's birthday party - sadly, I never did get a picture!

3. The curriculum I am writing for the toddler class at church.

4. When I was in elementary school I made a little bowl in art class, you know the kind you form out of clay or something, then it gets heated to harden, then you paint it, and glaze it. I still have it, I love it!

5. Parker's march of dimes poster. I spent hours on it and now proudly display it at the top of the stairs.

6. Alot of food dishes - anywhere from pork roast to homemade soups to spinach artichoke dip! - I realized a while ago that I could cook better than I thought. So I make a lot of homemade dishes.

My son gives me the prouds!

Today on Small Talk Six on Momdot, this weeks theme is“6 things about your children that you are proud of.” Here is my 6 things!

1) I am so proud to have a son that has touched so many lives. Of course, I never could have imagined his early arrival, but I am certainly thankful that good has come out of it.

2) I am proud to say that my son is a NICU graduate!

3) I am proud of the fact that Parker's gross motor skills are right on track.

4) I am proud that Parker is such a good bady, we rarely have issues with him.

5) I am proud that through my knowledge of Parker and his preemie challenges I have been able to reach out to others.

6) I am proud that Parker is my son.

Sorry if this list is kind of one note - its hard to come up with 6 things since he is so young.

You Make Me Sick!!!

Today the topic for small talk six is: 6 things that make you sick, but you eat them anyway! I wish I could make this post a little more pretty, but I am typing it out fast since I am getting ready for mom's night out.

1) Papa John's Pizza - Not sure why it makes me sick, but I always have a tummy ache the day after.
2) Twizzlers - Stinking love them! But if I eat to many, I am not a happy camper.
3) Steak - another one that baffles me, don't know why it makes me sick but it does.
4) Banana Peppers - probably not good to eat these when I can get terrible heartburn easily!
5) Skittles - again - not to sure why they can make me sick.
6) Chipotle - ok, so it doesn't make me sick so much as it kind of runs with the Banana Peppers - terrible heartburn!

It actually was hard for me to come up with six, mainly because things that make me truly sick I don't eat.

Today’s topic is “6 things other people do that make you personally uncomfortable.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .

1) I cannot stand when people smoke around me, especially now that I have a child! I just really think it's rude. Also in the smoking area - the hospital is a smoke free hospital. There was to be no smoking in, near or on the premises. However, everyone (including patients) would be out there smoking. Sitting by the signs smoking...I called the number on the signs to report it.

2) Yelling at kids in public....especially when the kid really isn't doing anything wrong. Prime example - went to the Zoo today and we were near the monkeys and some lady yells, spanks and basically treats the kid as if she had stolen something - the offense, she tried to get out of the stroller to look at the monkeys. Really - did you really have to go all bizercks over that?

3) Being called honey or sweetie....if I don't personally know you, I am not your honey or your sweetie. Sorry.

4) Over the top PDA. Really, is there really a need to be at the park making out? No? Then get a room!

5) Wearing clothes when they obviously do not fit. I am sorry, ma'am but I don't need to see your rolls or your chest! It just makes me feel funny.

6) When people fall and trip...I would tend to laugh...shame on me!
